Anyone got any ideas of things to do for single lady living in York. Ways to meet mid/late 20s people etc

When my partner and i split up, i found it very hard, i missed him so much. especially having him to confinde in.
Although all my friends are married & paired off, i would go visit them have dinner with them couple times a week, i also joined the gym and went there once or twice! Come the weekends, i will just go out with my friends even though they where in couples, it was still better than sitting in on my own. i even considered doing a night class at college.
