In 20 years time when the forces of Islam have siezed control of the major cities of England,forcing the indiginous population to flee to Scotland,eeking out an existence making whiskey,and shortbread for fat American tourists.Then these days will surely be known as the "good old days"

Of course they will! Older people, when reminiscing, invariably recall the good times and conveniently forget the bad.

Hear Hear QM. At the risk of sounding like an old fart (well what the hell, I am one!) There are things about now that are way better than when I was a kid.

Medicine has improved, people generally live longer and (in the Uk anyway) there is less real poverty.
