Egypt is safer than Britain is it, Right oh! have a day off, who did this survey? Gromit?
to quote Arthur Dent in H2G2, "clearly this is some strange new meaning of the word safe, I had previously been unaware of" - PMSL
Egypt safer than the UK? My Aristotle! Mind you, I agree with the ranking of Iceland, probably the most boring country in the world. In fact, that could be the solution to the migrant crisis. Tow all the boats to Iceland and deposit them there.
It's a list of 135 countries not 21.
Ha ha...Daily Express.

Makes the Daily Mail look like the Washington Post!

AOG - your question is wrong. This is not a list of the 21 safest countries.

It’s a list of...

Oh you already know the fault with your question.

No flies on you then, but let me explain the list I was referring to is the list of the first 21 countries as printed in the report.
So how do we spin this: “poor old Britain shafted on ‘what do they know’ poll” or “deadly dangerous migrant-infested Britain last on list cos we can’t count higher than 21”
;-)

Roll up roll up, for the degrees in special knowledge.

Are any of you clever enough to realise the paper couldn't print the full list of all the countries in the World, only necessary to print the list as far as the UK is down on the list.

They could have made it a list of 20 countries and then they could have headlined it, "The UK is not included in the first twenty safe countries of the World".
AOG

You’re not serious are you?

A report lists 135 countries, so the article should really be, “Where does the UK come in as list of 135 countries”, not “Where does the UK come ina list of 21 countries?”

AOG - do you realise that the Internet is not actually printed on paper?

There is absolutely nothing stopping the Express from printing a list of the 120 countries.

Nothing at all.

Paper has limits, but computer screens do not.
:)
Sorry - all 135 countries.
Why all the high and mighty answers about the number of countries?

And I dont see anything wrong with AOG's OP, if you dont like it raise your own. Too much of this on this site at the moment.

Personally I think the list is a load of Rowlocks.

If AOG raises a question which can be challenged, shouldn’t we be allowed to challenge it?

It’s simply nonsensical to ask the question in this way.

I will put it this way - “Where do you think the UK came in a of eight countries who competed in the 2012 Olympics?”

The answer might be eighth, which would make the UK look bad, but were 87 countries who took part, the the question is flawed.

Surely you can see that?

No please don't put it that way, because that way doesn't make sense at all.
I always came last in the egg and spoon race.
AOG

The principle is the same.

Do you really want to keep tugging at this thread? I’m happy to be a gentleman and release you from the corner you’ve painted yourself into.

I take no pleasure in observing this mess.
Coming in last out of 21 does make it sound bad, aog. Twentieth out of 135 sounds much better.
