I was posted to 32 Field Hospital near York, there was a pub about a mile away in the village of Strensal called the 6 bells. Every Sunday night they have a quiz which is notoriously hard (seeing as the Uni of York is nearby), anyway, theres no prize as such, the winning team gets to set the questions for the next weeks quiz. Folks come from all over Yorkshire just to take part in the quiz.

One Sunday night we were doing very very bad, we only had about 2 questions correct out of the 80 already asked with still about 20 to go.
I said to the team "bl00dy hell we're doing bad, if we get into double figures I'll run naked around the bar on the recruits end of course p1ss up" Which was the following Friday night
There was a surge of easy questions and we got them all correct!!!!!
"Never mind" said my mate 'Diggers' through howls of laughter "I'll have my car engine running in the car park, you go into the toilet, take your kit off, run out into the car park into my car and we'll drive off saving your dignity. Failing that you have to dress up as a woman for the whole night"
Knowing 'Diggers of old, I knew he'd be in his car all right but with the doors locked and I'd end up looking like a complete tw4t so I took the other option and dressed up as a tart.

To be continued..
