It does em10. My Uncle joined the RAF in August '40 and after 8 months training he was killed at the age of 19 on his 10th mission. He'd only been operational 6 weeks. As with so many, his body was never found, so his name is on the RAF Memorial at Runnymede. I wonder if I can apply for a medal in his name?

i learned only recently that a good friend in Australia lost their brother, he wasn't old and has no known grave.. i had no idea as she never told me, incredibly sad...
sdd, you could try, and i wonder if i could find out about my friends brother...
