I need your help for ID again please

Any ideas of what this uniform is? I think that he has just had a medal and that this is his Mum. Would you agree?

I don't think it is a medal presentation as he is not wearing one. (all I can see is medal ribbons.)
Possibly this is a SGT's Mess function night and he is photographed with his wife. I don't think they look that far apart in age

Sorry, when I said medal I meant the ribbons (I wasn't sure what to call them). Yes I think you are correct about the age too now I've had a closer look. Did you recognise the uniform at all?

Chuck do you mean the British Army Air Corps regiment uniform or the medals picture. The badge on his collar doesn't look like the uniform picture at all.

I meant the air corps uniform in general. the regimental collar badge is different on my picture.

It's a bit hard to see the badge in your picture, it looks a little like it could be a welsh regiment badge..
