I would love to hear of uses for the lengths of round wool or cotton that French knitting produces.

I have only found one.....a neckband to keep my embroidery scissors on

years ago the children used to roll them round and round the table like a snail shell, sew them together and make table mats.
I have seen hats made the same sort of way,
or you could glue it to a jam jar or cut down pringles pot etc and make a fancy pen pot.

Doh, the thread title fooledme, I thought it said French Kissing.
I've seen them used to make flower outlines on quilts and throws.

Like the outline idea Daffy...lots of scope there.

Pringles tins hmmmm would have to eat the contents first hmmmm, :-)

My sister makes them into very funky corsages. They're absolutely lovely.
They can be useful if you are knitting toys as they can be used for arms, legs, tails etc...
