Maybe they're expensive......... Because they're good.

I use to have a Belstaff biking jacket in the 60's.....they cost a fortune then but they did keep you dry.

They are wind and waterproof, sealed seams etc, as I recall.... ex-OH used to wear them for biking.

They were great when they were made in the UK. The high price tag was justified by the fact it'd last you a lifetime. However, now they are produced in Italy and a more of a fashion brand.
