I've bought a pair of jeans from a Primark store around 10 miles away. Unfortunatly they don't fit and I need to take them back.

There is a store closer to me. Can you take items back to a differnt store? I know a few stores you can, but can you do this with Primark?

Many thanks in advance.

No store is ever obliged to offer a refund or exchange on any goods unless they're faulty (or falsely described). The only exception is where the store displays a notice (either in the store or, say, on the back of their receipts), stating that they'll offer this facility (which then forms part of the contract of sale).

So (unless the jeans are faulty or the label has the wrong size on it), you might find that no Primark store will offer you an exchange or refund.

Use the store locator, here, to find your nearest store:
http://www.primark.co.uk/locator1.shtml
Then phone them up to check upon their returns policy.

I have never had any problem taking items back to Primark.
In fact I have never had problems with Peacocks/Next/New Look.As long as you have receipt (within the exchange refund time)you have not worn the
item etc.But if the Item is discounted on the day of return I think you will only be refunded the lower price.
Yes you can take it back to another store, I have done this with Primark with no problem at all!
normally if you have a receipt you shouldnt have a problem
