Crocs

Are Crocs comfortable? Do they rub?
I am thinking of getting a pair of Crocs mary-janes style shoes.
Any comments appreciated!

I bought a pair of Caymans recently and they are all I have worn since. My trainers are relegated to the back of the cupboard. They are really comfortable, I was recently at a school summer fair manning a stall and was on my feet all day wearing my crocs and my feet didn't hurt or tire at all. They don't rub at all (I never wear socks or anything else on my feet with them), the only two things I would mention if you are thinking about getiing some, is to try them on in a shop first before buying on the internet. Firstly they are quite chunky, although very light and I think when some people have tried them they didn't like the look of them. Secondly you might need a size larger than you normally take, I know I did. Hope this helps

CM, they are like walking on air! I have a pair of Holey Soles (similar but cheaper, the Canadian version of Crocs!), and I have lusted over them for a long time so to finally have them was great! They are chunky, and not for everyone, but everyone I know loves them! Bendable, wearable, comfortable...I washed mine on a 40degree cycle in the machine, came out as new (I was concerned they might melt, lol!)
The Mary Janes you are talking about are much narrower than regular Crocs, so as far as I know, just as good, nd they look a bit prettier too!
They are airy, and the little massaging nobbles are brill.

Im looking at my third colour in as many months - got black and silver caymans and they are amazing - my cousin got me into them she's a casualty nurse and they all wear them there. I went shopping the other weekend and they did rub a bit but after a while the soft material moulded to the shape of my foot and i didnt get any trouble after. A friend of mine who's a waitress has the prima style and they look like ballet pumps, really neat.

They are soooo comfy - I'm on my third pair now and as I have arthritis in my toes they are a godsend as allow plenty of room to move and don't rub on my joints.

BUT I do have a friend who got the flipflop style ones that weren't as comfy. Everyone I know that has the caymen style with no complaints.

I can't imagine the Mary janes would rub as they have applied the same technology and thought to them as the other crocs styles.

I've heard they are very comfortable, but so are slippers, and we don't wear them outside! Plus, Crocs make your feet look like they're made of lego!

They are comfortable, but I think very ugly. I wear them in the garden, so I can hose them off. However they sell JIBBETTS, little doo-dads that snap into the holes for decoration. a kid and her mom created them, the croc designer saw them and they sold the business to him. Kids here in US like the Jibbets.

I f you are on your feet a lot, they are very good.

Just spotted some crocs on the internet with a furry lining inside - presumably aimed at the winter market!

the mary janes are not ugly at all, they are very feminine i think. I have not worn this particular shape but i know the reason the traditional shapes such as the cayman are so comfy is because of the wide shape - they are designed so there are no pressure points on the foot for them to rub onto. however i don't know whether the mary janes are neater so may rub. i doubt it - they are designed very well.

They are great, really comfy, I have the Caymen style, but you do need to try them on before buying.
I bought mine from our local shoe retailer, and after trying a size UK 7 which seemed a little small, although I'm normally this size, the assistant suggested that I try a 7 made in a different location as the sizes vary quite considerably depending on where they have been manufactured, and sure enough I eventually settled on a size 6!! which were made in China I think, the size 7 made there were huge, so you do need to try before you buy.
