Why will a shop that sells EE mobiles not help you because you didn’t buy the phone in their shop although you are paying for the use of it to EE .
Is strange to me . Anyone else think the same or just me .

because they want to discourage sim card only deals. They make an awful lot out of people who get the latest phone through a monthly deal (for 1/2/3 years etc) at their exorbitant rates.
I didn't find that. I bought an I-phone in John Lewis and took it to an EE store and said I wanted a SIM only deal. They set the phone up there and then.

It's not just you galasalmon, and sometimes, "every little" (won't) "help".
and after the way I was treated, would never buy a phone off them ever again.
not related to EE, but a similar situation regarding the help needed. The phone that wasn't originally bought there needed stuff transferred to the new phone that WAS bought there, but they said No. Hope they are happy with their lost customer and online review.
