Whoosh! That’s a hard hit to take, ring Amazon again and tell them the item is not what it seemed and whether they’ll pay or not ,say you can’t afford to send it back to the USA , you just might get a sympathetic ear listening to you

that's what i wanted, but if its not tall enough will find something that is. i won't be making the same mistake again, and yes there is no assembly required. I know the type of wood as my other furniture, was made of the same material.

it has to be high enough for phone, clock, and lamp. it for either the hall or the living room.
