I always have problems with fractions, my mind goes blank.

This is my drug of choice and I want to know how big the bottles will be. Is it 750ml?

yes 1.5 x 500 = 750

50% extra means half as much again so 500ml becomes 500+250 = 750ml.
If it had been 1 litre initially iy would becomes 1.5 litres , but you halve these for your size
