Hi I have a bought a few items lately through EBay. On my credit card bill there is a payment says PayPal eBay uk (then what I presume is my account number) as appears on other payments. Then it says lux £4. I have no idea what this maybe does not show on my PayPal app but things I bought are there. Is there charges for buying? Any one know about this please.

Lux .. usualy means Luxembourg where paypal are concerned .. that is their banking address.
Did you buy anything from outside the UK ?

No nothing in my purchases on eBay amounting to £4 either. Does not show on my PayPal activity strange not much but would like to know what it’s for.

My first thought was for currency exchange had you purchased anything from a non uk seller.
Failing that I haven't got a clue .. Paypal as a rule only charge for receiving funds on your behalf.

Now feel such a fool. Would check everything over again last thing I bought at £9 strange not on my card. Ah! PayPal give you £5 for downloading their app which I did hence the £4. Sorted thanks for your replies alavahalf
