I have seen this bike which I quite fancy because it’s a low enough price for the few times a week I’ll be riding it - it folds fit my limited space - it’s electric too

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts - I should add I cannot really ride a bike at the moment but I intend to attend classes my local authorities provides for women riders

Thanks in anticipation as always

Is your inside leg measurement between 14" and 33.7"?
If so it should be ideal.
Looking at the specs, I see that it weighs over 3½ stone ('in old money'), so I hope that you won't have to get it up any steps. Also the rider's weight limit is 14 stone, so I hope that you're not a particularly large lady. I've just looked through the first 100 reviews though, and they seem generally good, so it might well be just right for you.
Seems a very good price if everything else meets your requirements. My son just paid £ thousands. But it is aimed at serious off road mountain biking.
Seems reasonable, got some reviews on youtube. If your happy and it fits, buy it!
i guess you should buy it or atleast take a trial before buying

Ok supplement to this
The Argus bike is another one of Argos’ permanent out of stock items !!!!
Can anyone recommend a folding Ebike that is at such a reasonable price
Thanks in anticipation
FAR too cheap.

It’s a toy!

For a decent e bike you need to pat at least £1000 second hand, and maybe £2000 new.

Go to Pedelecs website, join it, and ask them - hundreds of experts, often 2nd hand bikes too.

Thank you but as I said the small amount of time I’ll be using it doesn’t warrant spending so much
Ric. Have you considered a second hand bike? So many buy one then don't use it and sell. Have a google. I paid over £1000 for mine a good few years ago. My daughter paid much less recently for a very good second hand e-bike.
One thing you must consider is that you really do need to try out an e-bike for size and feel. They are quite different to riding an ordinary bike.

I have to be honest Gness - I can’t ride a bike BUT - I intend to attend a council run scheme in my area to encourage women to cycle
That's brilliant, Ric! :-)
That is a pretty decent bike for the price, not dissimilar to a Brompton either so it’s got the looks too(if that’s your thing).
In the current climate I’d say it’s a pretty good investment, bikes are becoming as common as rocking horse poo of late so I’d say go for it.
