Hi,
For some time now whenever I try to ask a question on Amazon I get the message
"You must be in good standing in the Amazon community to post"
& it doesn't post it.
I'm not aware of doing anything I shouldn't so what have I done wrong ?

You must be of good standing for AB to answer you.
I've never seen that but do have an amazon account and actually buy things from them? Are you logged into your account when you post?

– Your reviews were posted in exchange for compensation, such as gift cards to purchase the product, product refunds, review swaps, or free or discounted products.
– You requested free or discounted products in exchange for reviews"

That's taken from a response that someone posting on this thread got from Amazon:

Looking at that thread, and loads of similar ones it across many forums, it seems that you need to contact Amazon to try to get your ban rescinded. (It was probably imposed by a bot which thinks that your comments aren't genuine),

Prudie, I've bought loads & yes, am logged in when I get that message. Got to the point where I created another account that I never used for anything other than asking a question (then I forgot the e-mail address & password *doh*).
Buenchico, it's very rare I post a review. In fact, think other than asking questions, I only remember answering a question about a cat tree ('cos I'd bought one). Have never received anything by way of compensation (have wondered how people do but have only ever *thought* that !), & I don't know anyone who sells on there. It is a complete mystery ...
amazon knows what u are thinking
They should pay more tax ?
