Doing a bit of a clear out of my shed. Came across a Cadbury’s Roses tin. Sticker on the side read best before May 89. Contents 2kg inc wrapping. 1.9kg net. What are they now 750g if your lucky.

The price goes up, the contents go down.
The weight depends on where the are sold - Cadbury will make the tubs at any weight to suit the price point of the shop that's selling them.
Outlets like B&M will sell lighter tubs than Tesco to make it look like a much better bargain.
I think that the price seems to have gone down especially at Christmas most shops doing two tubs for £7
When they sold those 2kg tins they also sold smaller tins and of course the smaller boxes and pouches as they still do.
Shame the price isn't on that tin, malagabob
