Why don't more people use this facility in supermarkets ?

Why load stuff in a trolley , only to then unload it back into a conveyor belt , to then load it again in your bags ?

Is it the same in the supermarket you frequent ?

Are you a scan & go shopper ?

I've never even thought of using it, can't see the point.

On the rare occasion I go into a supermarket I do use them as they are always empty so imo they are quicker
I'm not Bazile - I'm a stay at home, open the door, they bring it in and unload it shopper.

Yes mamy , you're a funny lot , aren't you :-)
We are, all of me.
it's good exercise. If I stayed at home waiting for groceries I would get none at all.
I don't use it as I see it as putting someone out of work. They only need one person to around ten of these machines. Apart from that our local Tesco still check most peoples shopping so can take just as long as going through normal checkout.
I don't use them because I like to have a chat with the till person. Sad, innit?
I would get in a proper muddle and find myself having to explain why I had missed loads!

So you're the one who always hold up the queqe , yapping
That's me, Bazile. I like to treat them as a fellow human being. :-)

What is a Queqe?
Bored, Baldric?
It's where you wait when you're buying a doner ;-)

I do miss the social side of shopping instore.

Always on here!
My cleaner does all my shopping so I don't know of this. All I know is that I don't have to leave the house in this cold weather.
Haven't you got some shopping to do, Baldric?
Jack, it's been bracing today. Rosy cheeks all round. :-)
They haven't got the option where shop.
I am another one who uses delivery services. Much easier and environmentally friendly too.
Because it's less fuss than having to scan each item, ans the store is supposed to be providing a service, not getting the purchaser to do it for them.
