I have drop out on the figures, have changed batteries but still the same, any suggestions, 4 yrs old

Display connection problem ?
If out of warranty may be worth opening up and jiggling parts about to try to find poor joints.
Or this:
I really don't know what you mean by ' drop out on the figures'.

Whatever your problem is, have you done a reset to the clocks default setting ? Also, are you sure that the clock is suitably positioned to receive a good radio signal from the atomic clock station?

It might help if we knew which figures are dodgy...the LCD on the unit itself, the red projected figures on the wall ....or both?
