Due to circumstances we have recently started Shopping on line.Currently we are using Sainsbury's, and they have been spot on with Delivery times and correct items requested. Wish we had done this ages ago as it saves us loads of time. Seems to be more Discounts available on line as well.
Anyone else pleased to do it on line ??

Hi Redman
We have used Tesco home delivery in the past - very hit and miss. From what one of the delivery drivers told me, the pickers don't seem to be able to use common sense if an item is not available, we often had totally inappropriate items sent as replacements. We stopeed using the service some time ago.

He has been pleased to do other things on line too. I hate cleaning the screen
no queuing, no traffic, no wandering round aisles looking for something ... what's not to like?
Its brilliant. I am signed up with sainsburys, waitrose, ocado and tesco and use whatever is convenient. Tried asda and iceland and wasn't impressed.
oh PS, ocado give you 5p per carrier bag for every one you return for recycling up to 99 bags per delivery and they take ANYBODY's bags!
I've used Tesco for ages, always been very happy with the service.
I like Ocado - they may not have the ultimate range of goods, but their operation from central warehouses means you get real-time stock availability and far fewer cock-ups and substitutions than the 'pick from a local store' method used by the others. Prices are OK too if you keep an eye on offers/vouchers.

I've just been doing my Tesco shop and got fed up halfway around the virtual supermarket - I can go back to it later with no problem. It's not so simple to do that in a real supermarket. I have used it for years and overall the service has been excellent.

I also use Asda and they are good too. They sell different things and it is nice to have a change.
Rowan!!!! :-0...x
I've tried it for a weekly shop and got fed up of trying to find the pages I wanted, I could have been out and round the shops in the time!
TUT !!
I like ocado best. Because it doesn't come from a shop it simply won't let you order anything not in stock. They also price match tesco
I see my answer is exactly the dame as daves sorry
I'm signed up to a few, currently mainly use Tesco - have a delivery pass which is economical and rarely have any mishaps.
The only substitutions were for halloumi, and bio live yoghurt. They substituted with the low fat versions
The main problem I have is I am about to click on checkout when a little voice beside me says ' treats?'
Yep, Tesco. Used them for a few years now. No complaints. Save a fortune!
Even works for us down in faraway land ....it has become a necessity for us in the past few months and has been a real godsend particularly with the weighty items, etc

Pity we can't organise a cash out at the same time lol !!
we have used Sainsburys delivery too for a very long time. We have no complaints and would recommend them. sometimes the delivery comes a little early after a phonecall from the driver checking that this is ok. well done Sainsbugs!
Yes definitely, I hate food shopping.
