I give all my Tesco Fuel save points to my daughter - 12p per litre off this month.
Interesting Tony, Tesco's pumps are 30 miles away so we'll stick to Sainsburys
Ah...but to get Tesco's "low prices" on fuel, you have to food shop at Tesco. No thank you.

Well done Mamya. I always use mine at the end of the month.

Bad luck that, Pysbbo.
No Tony, the local Tescos are not very pleasant. Put it like this, I'd rather meet B00 than go there!

LOL.
That's lucky for me because Tesco is my only local supermarket.
tony in the States, Shell and Chevron have been claiming at least 5% fuel economy on their gas (petrol), the results coming into the research centres in order of 10%, some above that too, but then the lawyers want conservativeness in claim......

why, because the detergents help keep the tar down and also aid the ignition at the top of the cylinder head, thereby minimising the risk of knocking..... with the price of petrol at around 43p net of excise duty and tax, then this represents some 3 to 4p a litre on UK fuel......

Good lub condition helps as well by the way, and I'm sure that you know that.

Local prices here yesterday were Sainsbury's £1.22 / litre, Tesco £1.25 / litre. So the best deal is Tesco once a month, and Sainsbury's the other two or three times.
And don't forget the Nectar points, they pay for Xmas food each year.
Waves to DTC x
true - my food points go to the booze account, Psybbs..... xx
I fill up once a month at Tesco and usually get 20p a litre off. Makes a great saving of between £11 and £13, not to be sniffed at.
ASDA in North Tyneside: £1.20.a Litre today.
As I said yesterday....to get these large fuel savings at Tesco, you tie yourself (mentally) to Tesco food shopping....and it's never a good idea to do that.
Personally, since my car does 65mpg+, I'm not really concerned with the price that much!
The clear winner is not Tesco around here. They are consistently higher priced than Asda. The thing is, I am not driving miles for a fraction of a penny off; so of the local garages, I know what each are asking and which is cheapest.

And to those who think they are offering a different better type of offer, they can shove their card/money off elsewhere if you return tokens/receipts type thing, into a dark drawer somewhere.
My OH spends about £200 a week on fuel....great for points (he gets fuel money back)
I do most of my food and household shopping at Tesco, it's as good as any other and I make a fair bit of money back each year in Clubcard points as I pay for everything I possibly can on my Tesco credit card (paid off in full each month so free to me) and of course the discount on the diesel.

I buy my meat from my local butchers and veg from the local greengrocer.

I understand what you mean, DT. Besides good lube condition there are other factors, tyre pressure and weight inside the car being some.
The Americans seem to be tightening up on car manufacturer's exaggerated MPG claims now.
