I want to buy a large item on ebay. Can i search by location to find one which I can buy and collect close by? I seem to be opening and closing loads of listings all of which are collection only from the other side of the country.

Oh found it! Nearest first in the listing.

I tend to email or post prematurely too.
You should recall this thread.
For items for sale close by, scroll down the eBay left-hand panel and click on 'More Refinements' In the box that appears, click on 'Item Location'. Enter your post code, and the limit of distance you're prepared to travel to pick something up, and click on 'Go'. I've done this in the past, and found close-by items to buy, then arranged to pick them up personally from the seller, (and so saved on postage costs).
