I am going to buy a freeview box and was wondering what one to buy. Any recommendations? Any I should avoid? What should I be looking out for?

I've just bought a Philips one from Asda for 60; however, I now need a new rooftop ariel as the signal strength is pathetic and I've already plonked a 10 booster on it.

mine was from asda for for around 30, Pacific or something. PS the reception in my room was rubbish until I got freeview, now it's perfect, no new aerial or anything.
I have got two different freeview boxes for different rooms. One is sony which cost 80 but it is brilliant. The other one that i have got is a hitachi which cost 50. This is also a brilliant box and have had no problems with it.
Both worked fine with our old ariel and had great signal (hitachi one tells you the signal strength) but had to get a new ariel because our old one broke, nothing to do with the freeview boxes.
