What type of wedding dress would look best for a woman my height, weight?

I am going to start looking for a wedding dress soon. I am a large woman, 5'4 about 215 lbs. What style would look best on me? What type regular dress would look best for a woman my size? I would like to lose weight but I have other things to do before my wedding. Thanks in advance for your advice.

A bit confusing, since your profile says you're a bloke....

I'd go for something stylish but not fitted across the stomach. Avoid trains and bustles. Have you thought of a dress with a long loose jacket, which can disguise a multitude of sins?

A few years ago I was about your size and height. I went to try on wedding dresses with a friend. I tried several styles but was really surprised when I tried on a strapless dress with a full skirt. It looked amazing! Only by trying dresses on will you find what suits you.
