that does not contact you by post, ever!
I have a Tesco savings account but they still post a statement every 6 months.
I am looking for a decent interest rate and absolutely no postal contact, just online maintenance.

They are all required by law to send you a postal statement at least once a year I have been told
I thought you were supposed to receive a statement at least annually showing interest received and tax deducted rather than a full bank statement. However I have an online account and haven't had an interest statement for a few years even though I receive interest (albeit around 50 pence a year if I'm lucky)

Is it a secret stash of cash, igglepiggle?
I have never had any paper contact for my first direct savings account
You do not need to have a statement for a savings account. It may be the policy of certain banks to provide statements on an annual basis but is certainly not a requirement in law.
The Skipton B S may be worth a look.
Santander allow you to switch off paper statements.
...but Santander is truly awful on the customer-service front.
Nationwide lets you specify "no paperwork".
ditto, i am with AA and have to communicate only by phone ... but yes once a year you must have a statement!

have you tried moneysupermarket.com for the best rates? x

First Direct sounds like an option ! Yes I need to hide some money, and I suppose the other answer would be to use a family members address for contact ....
