laptop leg rest

So my laptop is getting old now and starts to get really warm when im on it; Is there a leg rest I can get for my laptop, as I want to keep taking it to university in lecture halls without my legs getting burned, or my laptop overheating

OH and if it's getting warmer now that it used to then chances are the fan and heatsink are all clogged up with fluff and dust and it needs a clean out.

My computer did the same thing .. just put a folder on your leg and computer on top it works. and it keeps that heat off your legs! I know hot hot it can get .. Then get a new computer later..

...or a small tray (melamine?) from a "poundshop"?

If you nip down to your local Wilko, you can pick up one of those cushioned lap-trays with a naff picture on top for under a tenner.
