Christmas is still alive and kicking

Went to the Co-Op to do some shopping today. They still have christmas cakes, mince pies, pate, biscuits and a lot of things all in Christmas packaging. At the checkout the bags are still bright red and with Christmas all over them.........this will answer tradey's post........enough is not enough as according to the Co-Op Christmas is still here :(

And I've just opened a Christmas cake my mum made to have a piece with a cup of coffee. Really nice too!!!

my cupboards are still full of Christmas goodies will all be out of date soon,so I will have to throw them out,why do we buy so much rubbish at Christmas every year I say I'll not do it again but guess what ,I do !!!!!

Could you put some of the Christmas overflow in the freezer to enjoy later? You never know until you freeze something if it will work or not - I just take the chance - and if it didn't work I throw it out then:)

My freezer doth overflow with cake, mince pies, Xmas pudding and that flaming turkey (meat, soup stock) and also half of a big stilton cheese.

Our local supermarket sold out of christmas leftover's very quickly. No panic though, the Easter eggs are out in force!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hehehe, Its sad that there is still Christmas packaging on goods in the shops and the sales ads still have some christmas music on them. Nothing like rubbing it in is there! :)
