Can I cook them the night before & keep them chilled before re-heating on Christmas Day?

I have 12 people coming and I'd like to get a "batch" done beforehand to save space in the oven

A true roastie is never re-heated. Pre-cook the meat and keep. Roasties last.
They tend to shrivel up once re-heated. Excellent for making bubble and squeak or slicing up and frying as part of a fried breakfast.
No, not a good idea they are not very nice reheated. Par-boil them to cut down on roasting time and as McNoodle says pre-cook the meat and re-heat. But not the potatos.
Parboil and add the tatties to the meat in the dish its cooking in. Meat can be cooked in advance but a true roast tattie - never! If the tatties are getting too cooked then you can put the in a dish at the bottom of the oven covered in foil or you could plate them and reheat them in the microwave, but get a good size spud and cut it in half and each half into quarters and you have 8 little potatoes to roast wedged in a baking dish alongside a joint of meat or turkey and they only take 40 minutes to cook this way.
Roasties - microwave (!) shame on you zimzam...
Roast potatos should never, never never see the inside of a microwave. Straight from the oven to the plate every time.
par boil potatoes the night before cover and keep in a cold place then roast after you have taken the turkey out of the oven
