If it gets removed then us NON-muslims will be upset.

I don't think there are many muslims on AB. I don't understand how people could let something like that actually affect them emotionally.
They don't. But you always get some clown trying to stir it.
What was the reason to post this puerile question?
oh dear?
I don't know many muslims but those I do always wish me a Happy Christmas, as do the Sikh, Hindu & Jewish people I know. Why get upset?
well said bellringer, I agree entirely
Is this question a wind-up stir or innocent .... can't tell for sure?

Staying with moderation and moderates -

Religions have their 'special days' ....

Christmas / Epiphany for Christians

Ramadan / the Prophets Birthday for Muslims

I wish Muslim friends a 'good' Ramadan; they wish me a 'Happy Christmas' .....

There is no need for conflict or wind-up.
As a pagan Im very upset with the extra days off work.
Troll. Troll. Troll .Troll
On a similar theme is the BA saga where an employee is forbidden to wear a necklace shaped like a cross a windup? It must be an expensive one because travellers are cancelling their seats in droves.
Was the cartoons depicting Mohammed with a bomb in his turban a windup? If so why did so many people get killed; why were there so many riots; why were there so many threats to artists. If some Muslims are offended then maybe we should sit up and take notice!
FFS, what next? An indignant post about all those Poles / Lithuanians / [insert usual "immigrant" nationality here] coming over here and enjoying our Christmas?
if they dont like it-- tell them to complain to al jazeera.
i think theyve got more pressing issues going on but any muslim moaners could give it a blast.

I agree with bellringer - most Muslims and other faiths dont object to us celebrating Christmas. After all we dont object to their festivals. Live and let live I say.
This question highlights the overly p.c. society we are living in now.
Can we say 'Happy Christmas' without offending someone? ooooh!!!!
For crying out loud.
Brits living in foreign countries live perfectly happily amongst their host's beliefs and customs. What is wrong with expecting the same here?
Christmas has been a way of celebrating the main symbol of the majority religion here for years and years. Why change it now?
