Anyone know what direction I should be looking in ?
Upwards obviously but N, E, S or W

North East
Although most trails radiate in a direction pointing away from the NE they can appear in any part of the sky. Recommend viewing position is flat on your back with a maximum unobstructed viewing panorama. Make a comfortable bed in a spot where any glaring lights are in shadow with room for a viewing companion if available. Sharing can help keep you both awake for the 'big one'.
I went looking and did not see it
I have put a question on news asking where it was
Spent about 40 min outside but was seeing less than 1 every 5min. Was 01.15hrs so might of missed the best.
