Are there any foods which can act the same way as an antibiotic? I heard that cranberries had this property, is this true? Are there anymore foods like this?

Garlic is supposed to be a natural antibiotic.
Although many plants exhibit this property to a degree, they're not all that effective. Garlic is probably the best known, and is often quoted for its confirmed antibiotic properties. Yet it is only 1% as effective an antibiotic as penicillin. (Spagnum moss is another, though you probably wouldn't want to eat it!)
