Impressive. Pity the camera tracking is so shaky.

Turned into an expensive firework 🔥

It all looks a bit Heath Robinson to me!

Ah well, keep losing a billion here and a billion there, and you're soon talking big money.

Great catch, though!

There are euphemisms and there are euphemisms

"According to SpaceX, the Starship experienced "a rapid unscheduled disassembly during its ascent burn" after it launched from Boca Chica, Texas."

I see the the payload, the Starship rocket, had a, "rapid unscheduled disassembly"...

a, "rapid unscheduled disassembly"...

Like when I slipped on the ice

If it had crashed, it would have been called, "lithobraking".

> a rapid unscheduled disassembly

They missed out "irreversible", a rapid unscheduled irreversible disassembly ...

When Elon Musk called Vern Unsworth "pedo guy", it was because Musk was miffed that Unsworth turned down the offer of Musk's mini-sub for helping in the Thai cave rescue.

That mini-sub was not formally tested, unregulated, a prototype. These SpaceX rockets are actually tested, yet still explode. What could possibly have gone wrong with a kid in an untested mini-sub in a Thai cave system, I wonder?  Hmm, remember that other billionaire, Stockton Rush, with his submarine to view the Titanic wreck ...
