google sez the radius is 17.5 light years
& there are over 800 stars - not just the 7 sisters!
The Pleiades is fantastic to see just through binoculars. I'm trying to find the time to get some decent photos of The Pleiades through my Astrophotography. Was going to do it last night till the clouds rolled in! Grrrr!
I asked this some time ago and it transpired that they are in fact a lot further away from each other than we are from the Centauri system.
