I'll probably be accused of being unromantic, but this in my opinion is a silly idea.

Wedding plaques in space.

I suppose it's one of those things you give the couple who have everything.

Bonkers!
What happens if the couple divorce?.....I was making a really intricate embroidered keepsake for my sister when she married....she left him before I finished it and her next husband's name didn't fit... :-(
Always someone with a new way to part some from their money, if it makes the buyers happy then so be it.

I do take your point about space junk though.
I doubt the plaques get sent anywhere - who's going to prove it?
I agree with you about the problems of space junk but those plaques are incredibly small. You could cut 468 of them from a single A4-sized sheet (and the metal used is probably very thin too), so they're not exactly massive lumps of titanium.

Size isn't everything, Buenchico.

Douglas, you will have to trust me on this, size really does matter.
Last one from me tonight, man is finally back after being gone all day. Night all x
Well obviously, Tashi, how else would one achieve escape velocity.
*** wrong thread :(
I hit escape velocity most days to be fair, happy bunny.
Specs of ex-satellite can punch holes in later satellites, or rockets. Plaque size isn't the issue. If wanting a space related memory then why not contribute to those projects trying to develop a way to clear space mess up ?
I can think of better things to spend my money on. Weddings are expensive enough.
Can I just blast 'er indoors up instead?
