I'm watching the 9/11 3D Flight Analysis one right now so cannot say anymore until i watched it but so far question have risen!

9/11 Conspiracies? Yeah, I think I've heard of them...

Best explained as some people trying to make sense out of the nonsensical; or trying to bring reason to madness.

There's a montage out there of what amounts to probably every known angle of the plane hitting the second tower. Look at that if you are going for the "no plane" theory.
What thoughts do you want?
Have a look at this Alf. One could be mistaken for thinking you might have seen it before tho!

These daft theories are believed by a small amount of stupid people....probably the same stupid people that think that Elvis is still alive and working in a remote Walmart somewhere.

As with all stupid people, they are best ignored, as they thrive of publicity.
I totally agree, Mikey.
Why do almost all of these daft stories come from America though ?
You've heard that saying ... "Only in America."

And why do Aliens only ever land and poltergeists only ever haunt in America?
Because most of them relate to America? Moon landings, Elvis … 9/11.
If you're only really paying attention to the US and the UK (or perhaps to the English-speaking world) then you'd expect about four or five times more stories to come from the US than anywhere else purely due to population. Nothing more remarkable than that, probably. There are plenty of nutters across the world. Ever heard of the "fan death" conspiracy, for example? It's all the rage in South Korea.
//And why do Aliens only ever land and poltergeists only ever haunt in America? //

They don't ... allegedly.
lol NoM !

But its a serious question. America has one of the highest education levels in the world, and yet these daft theories still seem to appear, constantly.
I'm sure the answer is more complicated than the one I gave, but still: you need to start by dividing the number of crazy stories by about five, and then ensure you have a proper sample, before you can take the implications of your question seriously.
Jim, // I'm sure the answer is more complicated than the one I gave//

As I said, most conspiracy theories relate to events in the US so it's not rocket science – as ‘they’ say. ;o)
Mikey says that America has one of the highest education levels in the world, but I question that. I met one person there who, when Canada was mentioned, asked me if that was north of where we were. Another asked me if we spoke English in England.
Will that do? Sounds a bit like a chicken and egg problem, to me. Why do most conspiracy theorists live in the US [if that's even true and not just a perception]? Because most conspiracy theories relate to the US. But don't the theorists come before the theory?

Anyway, I'm not interested in entertaining Mikey's implication that Americans are somehow stupider unless he actually tries to account for the population difference.
Hoppy....stopid people exist everywhere.

I recall the story of when William Randolph Hearst told some of his guests that he had recently bought a Norman castle in Wales ( St Donats ) ....someone then asked "Norman who" ?
Jim...relax...this is meant as a light-hearted thread
( I think ! )
Sure, but you've been "light-heartedly" calling Americans generally stupid for years now.
Jim, //But don't the theorists come before the theory?//

Unless you’re saying that all conspiracy theorists support all conspiracy theories (which I don’t think they do), I can’t say I understand that reasoning.
