Radon Level

Recent radon test shows level of 140 best level is 100 action level is 200 so I assume no action required thanks for any advice

The figure of 100 you mention is the level to which Radon would be expected to be reduced if proper reduction measures are put in place.
The 200 is the level at which action to reduce Radon is recommended.(not compulsory just recommended)

You might wonder why the trigger level is 200 and then they say OK get it to 100.... and I wondered if that were because otherwise people would get it to 199 and say OK job done
^^ Radon is a natural gas and is found everywhere. Most parts of the UK have very low levels. The main places where higher levels ate found are those where the underlying rock is granite. Granite is naturally radioactive and so emits Radon. Most of Scotland is a high Radon area as the underlying rock is Granite .
