Venus rotates so slowly on its axis that its day is longer than its year. How would the calendar work?

You could still divide the orbit into 24 hour chunks or any other period of time to suit whatever organisms , if any, live there.
I wonder if anyone could have been bothered to construct a Venusian calendar for you to use as an example.

But I guess it would start in the month of Glaxfoal, and then before the day of Glumpsday had finished, the month would have changed to Lonsrack. and so on and so forth.

I'm sure you could create such a calendar as, 'an exercise for the reader'.

Heathfield, that is excellent!
At 90 atmospheres of pressure and hundreds of degrees, I think the last thing on your mind would be to wonder what day it was. ;)
Wow, well what do you know ? Google "Jeremiahn Variant Calendar for Venus" and you get loads of info.
