Whilst having a "friendly" game of chess, White's King has been accidently knocked off the board. Unfortunately no-one can remember who's move it is next and which square White's King was on.

White is playing up the board; black is playing down.

Where does White's King belong and who's move is it next ??

You'll need to show the previous few moves to corroborate your claim.

The White King goes on c3, it is Black to move.

A little earlier ...
White Pawn on c2, Black Pawn on b4.
White plays c2-c4, Black replies b4 x c3 + (en passant)
White plays Kb3 x c3 +.

At this point the White King leaves the board.

Good puzzle!

I was giving up to anyone answering .....

Well done in getting it right ..... I also think it's a nice puzzle 'cos it looks impossible at first - needs a bit of working out.
