Last week, the MM Links Game kicked off once again with the usual two-minute advance on the computer clock. Rest assured that no one is ever disadvantaged by this minor hiccup that occurs every now and then. I look forward to this third round of link words to be set by Baron Brian ~ aka beejay1124 and hope that St Patrick’s Day Celebrations did not present him with more than a “minor hiccup”.

If all goes according to plan, Baron Brian should open the channel of communication on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and his third set of four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. If you are new to the MM Links challenge, remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz ( Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz

As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.

Until we meet again, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!
Evening all...any jokes for red nose day?
I haven't any jokes, but I wonder what the links will be tomorrow - could they be St Patricks Day or Red Nose Day linked. We'll have to wait and see. Don't suppose it'll help me either way as my scores are atrocious this month.
So are mine. I have been useless the last few months!
I think St Patrick's Day may be a bit too obvious.
Only 3 points altogether so far - and I won't be around for the 9.00 (or 8.58!) start tomorrow. It'll all be the same in 100 years, I guess.
Moi, nil points so far this month and nothing to add here relating to Paddy's Day but this might surprise you - though I can hear howls of protest from PETA/RSPCA etc !

Bet, you watch it twice!
So what has everyone been doing for comic relief???
I have been manning the tombola in Sainsburys
and wearing red nose t shirt and deely boppers
and selling scratch cards for comic relief
hope we have raised loads
I wasn't expecting that! :-)
The girls have been up to all sorts at work.
It has got bigger and bigger this red nose day...that lasts for weeks!
evening all
yes I watched it twice Strix
didn't expect that
yes it has been going on for weeks here Pauline
do wish people would get organised
they always come in looking for red noses way afte rwe have sold out
we have them at least 6 weeks in advance but people leave it until the day when they suddenly realise they want a red nose!!!!!
Just thought, as I said can't contribute anything Irish but this I can. It is not Irish or Scottish but is played, in this version, by an Irishman!

Might make you jig a little!
Must admit I watched it twice too!!
Well done Jan, you've done your bit for Comic Relief.
Evening all - late on parade again but school concert tonight, not just a late night at work.

Don't you just love it when the vioinists stop sounding like strangled cats!
We have tried Laney
normally we blow all the other stores in our area out the water
but due to the extension which means we close next Tuesday and reopen on the 30th
we have not been able to do as much as normal
but the other stores had better watch out as next year we will be back
much bigger than before!!! (not that we are competitive or anything) lol
Good evening all.....Strix, I must admit that I also watched it twice, got me thinking back about 45 years when one of my friends kept ferrets in his back garden!

Here's an Irish one for you....

I believe some pubs have been serving green guinness!
They usually do ....in New York and Boston (didn't see any in San Francisco when we were there for St. Patrick's Day a few years ago)!
I hope Baron Brian is sober....and not had too much guinness whatever the colour!
