I really believe that Spring is just around the corner and I guess that my attack on my weeds is about to kick off in earnest. I have just spent the last 4.5 hours looking after grandson, Harry, and it is beginning to be difficult to keep up with him. I am no sooner tidying up his mess in one room when my ears pick up noises of mayhem emanating from another room where he is starting to create more havoc. Needless to say, I am rather fatigued and so will keep this missive to an absolute minimum.

Sorry ~ It's 2011!

One thing that you need to know is that our new setter will not be teacher1, but Baron Brian ~ aka beejay1124. I am grateful for him for stepping in as substitute at the last minute. Brian hails from Northern Ireland and last set the linkwords exactly two years ago. He is a loyal MM Linker and is not easily over faced. He has been a regular entrant and (as it would happen) was one of the very highest scorers last month ~ a worthy successor indeed.

Baron Brian joins the elite band of Double Champion of the Royal Order of MM Links. He is standing by ~ eagerly anticipating his launch tomorrow morning as he begins his second reign. He should open the channel of communication on AB tomorrow at 08.45am and his four words to be linked should be posted at 9.00am. This will be a brand new MM Links challenge and remember ~ early MM hits gain bonus points!

As usual, I ask that you should also look out for the international version of this same game which is called KM Links and kicks off at a very early hour (which is difficult to predict precisely). Consequently, the timing of your posting is deemed to be irrelevant ~ only the number of hits you are able to register. The regular organiser of KM Links comes all the way from Oz ( Roo-land) and is my good friend, “seekeerz”. She is truly the “Wizard-ess of Oz

As I always say ~ “Why not chance your arm at both Link Games?” You have nothing to lose. Both games remain open for most of the weekend and all entries are scored and entered on to master scoreboards to trace progress through each monthly contest.

Until we meet again, may I wish you ~ “Happy Linking”!

:o)
Evening all!
Looking forward to your links Baron Brian!

We have been chasing after an escaped rabbit for 3 days now. It has taken up residence under the decking at the back of the garden and only pops out to tease us as we try to catch it!

Any ideas?
Feed it loads of lettuce. I believe it makes rabbits go to sleep then, dear Pauline, you can then take it to the basement of Stockpot Towers and pop it into your ever-bubbling cauldron along with some of your favourite herbs - wormwood, eye of toad etc.
Bon appetit!
LOL....Strix, I think as you are such a wizard, you could come and create one of your recipes with it!
It is still running rings around us....it's days are numbered!!
hope there are no foxes in your area pauline
There are Jan....

Strix...I will be getting a gun tomorrow! The flaming thing has taken up 3 days of my precious time!
Pauline. Have you thought of a 12-bore?
LOL...I have been thinking on those lines for the last few hours now! It's driving me nuts!
No comment Strix....
Reg and the girls were poking all sorts under there tonight, then tried to entice it out with treats, and it ran out when we were watching from the house! As we were all trying to reach it, Reg shone a torch under, and it was snuggled up washing itself and looking rather smug!
As Spring is nearly (one hopes) upon us and the "sap" is rising, do you think, Pauline, if you dressed up in a Playboy Club uniform and covorted in your garden to seductive music your rabbit might mistake you for a potential mate and come out and play.
Whereupon you could clasp it to your ample bosom and then return it to its hutch?!
What was Reg doing trying to poke a rabbit with licorice allsorts...that's no way to try to tempt the b....r out!

Now, if you were to get a flame thrower, you could make a rabbit stew in one go!!

Strix...

''Whereupon you could clasp it to your ample bosom and then return it to its hutch?! ''

You clearly haven't met me!!! LOL... I wish :-))
twix...that really is becoming VERY appealing!
Dear Pauline,

"Once upon a time there were four little rabbits: Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail and Peter. And very delicious they were too."

Yours,
Beatrice
Oh, come on Pauline, ram a couple of chicken fillets into your Liberty Bodice and we'll all think you're Katie Price (a.k.a. Jordan).
Put the skillet on ;-))

You three are terrible! :-))

It's got me thinking like that though today...done my head in!

Strix...what's a Liberty Bodice? :-))...and why would I shove my dinner there?
Well I shall see you all tomorrow....while the rabbit is stewing!
