Good Evening AB Linkers, everywhere!


Oh dear, the unthinkable has happened, Crofter has abandoned his post and gone AWOL - right in the middle of his own month! Furthermore (prepare to feel jealous), I understand he will be soaking up the sun for a WHOLE week in Tenerife! Consequently the cavalry has been called in and I will do my best to supervise the MM game this weekend (+ opening the 'shrubbery' again next weekend). However, the game is still Crofter's - he has provided me with the files and all I have to do is post them at the appropriate times (providing my ISP is co-operative).

Assuming I don't sleep in, I shall be posting Crofter's opening remarks in Q & P at 8.45am tomorrow and the four words to be linked should be declared at 9.00am, when the MM Links game kicks off in earnest. Remember, play early if possible because first hits can gain bonus points!


The last few days have been hectic for me. My colour laser printer malfunctioned on Wednesday and (with the help of a 260 page service manual downloaded from the internet) I have had it in bits over the attic floor. The problem was with escaped toner getting where it shouldn't. Dyson proved too powerful and swallowed two screws in the process. It is now 2/3 back together but which screw goes where? Will it work ever again? Who Knows? Will let you know.

Oh no....just when things seem to be going okay. There is never a good time for that, but just before Christmas is awful.

Very quiet on here tonight...we will have to have an early Christmas 'do' next week...as I will be off line for a few weeks after that.

Good evening everyone. Just popped in for a few minutes. Thanks Gen2 for stepping into the breech. I am enjoying your quiz, still have only got about 60% but still picking it up now and again. Love some of the clues, really clever.

Well I have to retire now, have had my ration of alcohol already tonight - meal out with Mrs x-ray tonight - very enjoyable.

The next Dragonfly Quiz will perhaps be early New Year...fingers crossed. It is nearly completed by Crofter..but I will be unavailable for the next few weeks to launch it.
