I was watching MOTD last night and I was astonished by the number of players still wearing thermal tops under their short sleeved shirts. Maybe wear it for the warm up but the match?! - we are in quite warm Spring weather now! At least nobody was wearing gloves.
I can't say all were cissies or people from Mediterranean climates - hard man Northerners are guilty eg. Rooney was one
Also re: accessories, Robinho was wearing a bracelet, somebody a neck chain and I even spotted ear rings! Surely a hazard if you collided with somebody's face?
Fashion victims? Or should our 'stars' be allowed to wear what they like - will it be sunglasses, scarf & overcoat next?

I agree ... in any sport where there is possible contact, the players should not be allowed on the pitch with any jewellery, etc.

Even netball players have to remove all jewellery.

Mind you ... a lot of Premiership footballers are bigger girls than most netball players.

In any case ... why do men want to wear jewellery in the first place. I'd never go out with a guy who wore jewellery.
