a cake as it goes hard when going stale whereas biscuits go soft

Not quite sure what this is about, but does it really matter? As far as I know you pay VAT only on hot food, not cold food. Personally I don't care whether it's a biscuit or cake - as long as it's something to eat!! ;-)

Of course it matters. If it is a Cake it is bad for my diet but okay to eat if is a buiscuit as I can dunk it and it will not have many calories then
