Did any clever clogs finish the giant sudoku code (Daily Mail Genie Prize sudoku) dated Dec. 20th and closing tonight?
I didn't really understand how to apportion a value for each letter, as it wasn't explained clearly enough for me, but I had a go anyway and I'm probably completely wrong.
The comp. closes at 23.59 tonight, so after that time has passed it would be interesting to hear whether other Answerbankers found it hard or easy?
Cheers,

I didn't. I can't be bothered with sudoku but I do know that there's a website with a grid that you write given numbers in, press submit and lo and behold you wouldn't have to bother either! It was mentioned in AB last week.
At least you had some fun trying.

Hi Tallulah! thanks for your reply.
The sudoku part wasn't too hard but then one had to add up certain numbers in shaded yellow areas, and discover a 'code' from it , and that was the part I found difficult!
Good luck and good wishes
to you for 2009,
