I have downloaded approx 100 photos to my PC, taken over a number of days on holiday. They seem to all be in one folder in My Pictures but are 'separate' when I try to look at them, approx 10 pics in each sub-folder. I am trying to back them up to a CD but I think there are too many folders as they won't all go on one CD. How can I transfer all the photos into one 'file' so I don't have to keep clicking on different files to open various photos ? Tried Windows Explorer but doesn't move photos to same file. Not a techie so laymen's terms please! Photos are still on the camera by the way. Thanks all.

Probably your camera creates a hew folder each day,so you ma have 100canon,101canon etc.If you right click on the desk top and create a new folder you can name it Blackpool (or wherever your holiday was)Open the first folder, highlight all the individual files (IMG_xxx) right click on the highlighted files ,then drag to you new folder.Select "copy here" and you should see a prgress bar indicating the copying.Repeat that for all the other folders. When you have checked that the new folder contains all the photos , save it to My Photos or where you choose. You can then delete the original individual folders.BUT DO MAKE SURE ALL THE ONES YOU WANT ARE IN THE NEW FOLDERBEFORE DELETING ANYTHING !!
