I'd forgotten about this crossword until the other day and am stuck on the final clue. Why is it always the small ones ?
22dn Game to raise a grand ? (4) _A_O
I presume that this is one of the answers read downwards, and the only game I can think of is "faro", but cannot work it out from the clue.
Any ideas ?

Thank you for your answer eah but I'm not too sure on the logic of the answer.
By the way, welcome to the site.
The answer is KENO Ulysses- I'm sure you can work out why.

By the way it's apparently a version of Bingo
