Completely stuck on ths last clue- "a head master confiscated the tuck" (6*). -P-E-E
The only words which have any possibility- to my mind- are SPHERE and APIECE and I can't see any logic in either. Any one got an alternative?

Thanks - Of course- that's the "a head" bit!
(This is a Saturday crossword, 19 x 19, and it also appears in the Deccan Herald, India- but not on the same week!)
