Thanks for your guess but I now know it finish with the letter S, second letter could be L. - L - - - S

It could be Alder they have fruits
The main attractions of Mottisfont are its magnificent plane trees, riverside walk, walled gardens and the National Collection of Old-fashioned Roses (at their best in June).
