Today's clue is:
It may seem unlikely given its numerous multi-storey car parks, but this is one of the UK's most environment-friendly places. One of its famous sons was pretty green too, though he later went underground. Muslims, Italians and Martians all played a part in its history. A nearby village produced a key ingredient of Cream. Name the town.
