95 To The Moon?
Question Author
I dont think 59 can be Gibbs as the answer is a venue

These are not straightforward! Is there a theme?

Are any of the clues cryptic?

Could the answer to 95 be simply THERE?

Question Author
most of the other questions around the last 4 relate to places of interest or building etc in cities, or attractions in buildings, not much help am I

Hi olivia, Having pondered over these, I can guarantee that the answer to 87 is "Angel Cakes"! (See below)

The angel cake comes from American culinary goddess Mary Lincoln, whose name has long been forgotten. An early leader of the famed Boston Cooking School, she wrote cookbooks that became the foundation of home economics classes from coast to coast.

Good! eh?

Have you had any truly cryptic clues for the other answers - with anagrams, etc?

Question Author
sorry Crofter, the clues are exactly as I have typed them, re "angel cakes" I thought I had the answer to that one, Linclon Cathedral has a set of statues on its front face which are called "Angel Choir". What do you think?

Good idea olivia, but the clue is very subtle and talks of a foretaste which suggests food of some sort! The link to Mary Lincoln is too good to be ignored.

Any feedback on the cryptic nature of the clues? For example, "wild beasts" could lead to "basset". Should I be working on such lines or ignoring them?

Question Author
I go along with Angel Cake, Crofter, re the other questions, the only one that is in a particular section is the "venue of toothpaste magnates explosive party" all others relate to a town or city. The remainder are in a general section. However of the 20 questions in this section the majority have some reference to a city or an item of interest in a city. E.G. spooks rendevous in a London dome. W. G. (Whispering Gallery) I will try the beasts anagram. Best of luck and thanks for your help so far.
